Queerer Stick-Workshop – Queer Embroidery Workshop

Du möchtest Sticken ausprobieren, weißt aber nicht, wo du anfangen sollst? Oder du stickst schon und möchtest dein Hobby mit anderen Menschen teilen? Dann komm zu unserem Workshop am 10.11.2022! 

Gemeinsam werden wir kleine oder auch größere Motive sticken. Wir stellen alle benötigten Materialien bereit und haben ein paar Vorlagen zur Inspiration, aber wir helfen dir natürlich auch gerne, deine eigenen Ideen umzusetzen. Wenn du ein Kleidungsstück besticken möchtest, vergiss bitte nicht, es zum Workshop mitzubringen.

Der Workshop beginnt um 18 Uhr und dauert bis 21 oder 22 Uhr, je nachdem wie lange wir für unsere Projekte brauchen.

Was kann ich mitbringen? Wenn du möchtest: Stoff oder Kleidungsstück(e) zum Besticken

Barrierefreiheit

Der Eingang und das Erdgeschoss, wo wir uns aufhalten werden, sind stufenlos. Erreichbarkeit über öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sowie eingeschränkt mit dem Auto. Es gibt eine Tiefgarage in H6, weitere Parkmöglichkeiten befinden sich in den umliegenden Straßen.

Es ist sind geschlechtsneutrale Toiletten vorhanden. Für Infos zur Nutzung mit Rollstuhl/eingeschränkter Mobilität, bitte per DM oder bei katrin.hofner@qzm-rn.de melden.

Da das QZM ein offenes Café (ohne Konsumzwang) hat, werden wir voraussichtlich nicht allein dort sein. Es gibt Musik und bunte Lichter, die bei Bedarf runtergedreht werden können. Es finden möglicherweise mehrere Unterhaltungen gleichzeitig statt. 

Papier und Stifte bzw. Handy für schriftliche Kommunikation vorhanden, eine Person aus dem Orga-Team kann Gebärden auf Anfänger*innen-level, diesbezüglich bitte im Voraus bei uns melden.

Es besteht die Möglichkeit, dass Menschen Alkohol konsumieren, Alkohol sollte in Maßen konsumiert werden. 

Bei starker Allergie gerne vorher bei uns melden, damit wir das entsprechend regeln können.

You would like to try embroidery, but don’t know where to start? Or you already know how to embroider and want to share your hobby with others? Then join our workshop on 10th November 2022! 

Together, we will embroider small as well as bigger motives. We will provide all the necessary materials and we’ll also have a couple of patterns for inspiration, but of course we’ll also happily help you realize your own ideas. If you want to embroider a piece of clothing, please don’t forget to bring it with you.

The workshop will start at 6pm and takes place until 9 or 10pm, depending on how long our projects take.

What can I bring? If you want to: Fabric or garment(s) that you want to embroider 

Accessibility

The entrance and the ground floor where we will be, are without steps or stairs. Accessibility via public transport or limited via car. There is an underground car park in H6, other parking facilities are in the streets surrounding QZM.

There are gender-neutral toilets. For info about accessibility with wheelchair/impaired mobility, please contact us via DM oder katrin.hofner@qzm-rn.de. 

Since the QZM has an open café, we will probably not be the alone there. There will be music and coloured lights that can be turned down if needed. Several conversations will possibly take place at the same time. 

Paper and pens / smartphones available for written communication, one person from the organising team can sign on beginner level, regarding this please contact us in advance.

There is a possibility that people consume alcohol, alcohol should be consumed in moderation. 

In case of severe allergy please contact us beforehand so we can arrange it accordingly.
